Diana's birth story

IMG_6869_4301.jpg

I'm not the best at communicating with my words, that's why I've always had a camera for that. My sister gave birth to her firstborn son February 21st, 2017. (I'm a little late on this post) I had the privileged to stay with my sister the week prior to her labor and she asked me to be in the delivery room during birth! It was truly special and insane. I got to see the looks on her and her husbands face the first time they laid their eyes on their newborn son. What a powerful thing. I sat in the corner and cried for a minute, haha, then pulled myself together to snap some photos.

I feel so fortunate to have been given a sister, truly. I can't imagine my life without one. And now I get to watch the mother she is continually growing into being and that's pretty cool. Sorry for my sappy post but sometimes things are just sappy. Thanks for letting me gush.
