Old Hollywood Glam and an over the top dance party at this Oakland Winter Wedding.

From the moment I met Shannon, I knew her wedding would be stylish and unique. Shannon and Will got married at the Sequoyah Country Club in the Oakland Hills. A bay area couple, this was the perfect, local backdrop to their old Hollywood glamour style. Shannon wore a vintage dress she found at Happy Isles Salon in Los Angeles and had it tailored by TailorMaid SF. She had her hair and makeup was done by Salt Spell Beauty which wrapped her old Hollywood look together flawlessly. Will wore Klein Epstein Parker suit with Gucci loafers. It was a rainy winter day so the whole wedding ceremony and reception were hosted indoors in the gorgeous historic Sequoyah dining hall.

The couple kept their ceremony simple and danced the night away to the incredible Primo Pitino. Emily from Heart Throb Weddings took care of every last detail and the wedding was a perfect celebration.

Crater Lake

On our way to photograph a wedding in Bend Oregon, Sara and I decided to stop at Crater Lake. We had both never been there and wow! What an incredible place. Always take the time to pull over or drive a few miles out of the way.

Norheim Family

Can't complain when my job "makes" me go to Stinson Beach to hang out with a friend and her amazing family. I first met Jacqueline in the MFA program at Mills College. I have no words to fully describe my love for this cosmic creature. The occasion was her fathers birthday and her whole family spent the weekend in a beach house to eat, and hang out. It was a beautiful day so I decided to ride there on my motorcycle over Mt. Tam and it was the right decision. I lived in San Francisco/ Oakland for 8 years and never once tired of the North Bay, it is always a treat and privilege to spend time along the coast. California is special.
