Celebrating seasons helps us mark the meaningful passage of time and is endlessly inspiring to me.

They are also great activities to use as a backdrop for making memorable images.  Whether it’s for an annual Holiday card, to have some memorable portraits or even an engagement, consider an activity as a backdrop for photos, the more seasonal the better!  Picking wildflowers in the Spring, swimming holes in the summer, or persimmon picking in the Autumn, activities like this not only help families interact with their environment and maybe even forget that they’re being photographed for a minute, making these sessions more fun and less awkward (and maybe even start a new tradition)~
